FORENSIC SCIENCE 101

        - Conclusions derived from Forensic Experts' Calligraphic Report, dated 12-27-2002

        - "On the basis of all that which is stated within this Calligraphic Experts' Report, we believe:

        GENERAL CONCLUSION:

        - All of the works indicated within the list were created by the hand of Jose Ruiz Blasco himself.

        - In confirmation thereof and in order that the appropriate validity may be attributed to said document, we are signing it in Barcelona on the twenty-seventh of December, in the year two thousand and two."

(Conclusions from Experts' Report)
Forensic Science and Transparency
Vs.
Improper Practices, Obstruction and Conspiracy

        - Improper practices within the Art Market have conspired to conceal a false childhood for Picasso and the enormous fraud which has been generated.  Transparency and scientific analysis applied to works of art have also been rejected.  In summation, leading figures within the Art Market have committed offenses against science, common sense, and the law.

        Sotheby's

        - In February, 2001, Sotheby's, acting in opposition to analyses presented by experts at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid, rashly auctioned the canvas entitled "El Gitanillo [The Young Gypsy], which was presumably painted in 1898.  This work is a flagrant "unsigned and undated" deception which is fraudulently attributed to Picasso.
        - Sotheby's maintains that this work was authenticated by Concepción Ruiz Walter and by Palau i Fabre.

- The work was withdrawn because there were no buyers, on account of flagrant falsification.

        Sotheby's has invoked authentication by
Josep Palau i Fabre and by Maya Widmaier

PROVEN OBSTRUCTION
        - Obstruction in favor of the Picasso Administration, S.A., a profit-making commercial company with cultural camouflage

        - The selling of a canvas entitled "Dama en Eden Concert (Cabaret)" [Lady at Eden Concert], which measures 80 x 59 cm. and painted by Picasso in 1903, during his  Blue Period, was requested officially and in a fully legal manner from Christie's and Sotheby's. This painting is owned by the researcher, who is the author of the book Picasso 1891-1897 Fraud, which is being examined within this context.

        - It has been requested from these auctioning firms, in consideration of the incompetence and unreliability of Picasso Administration, S.A., that a possible investor should be able to decide to buy the painting with the protection offered by scientific analyses which have been applied, by common sense, and by the law.

        - This canvas is undoubtedly one of Picasso's canvases where the greatest scientific guarantees exist:
        - What do Christie's and Sotheby's know about this?
        - What do Christie's and Sotheby's have to say to their investors?
        - Are they in a position to guarantee their clients  investments?
        - Are these lucrative entities aware of the greatest fraud in Art History?
- The selling of "Dama en Eden Concert" is being obstructed in a manner which is at odds with freedom within the Art Market.

- Christie's has "decided" not to sell this item.

- Sotheby's has not responded.

With application of X-rays, Picasso's father is visible within the underlayer.

Scientifically tested by Dr. Cervera Figueiras, a chemical engineer at the University of  Barcelona in Spain.

Forensic studies issued by the SIK (Swiss Institute for Art Research) of Zurich, University of Lausanne, Switzerland.

The digits "
323" and "323," "written by Picasso's own hand," which appear upon the rear portion of the frame, have been analyzed with forensic rigor by Dr. Rosa Torrents Botey.

The canvas has been
authenticated by the French historian Mr. Pierre de Champris, who is the author of the scientific work Ombre et soleil.

In his
Dictionnaire Picasso, Pierre Daix acknowledges that Champris is the most eminent expert in relation to Picasso.

It has also been
analyzed and studied by Rómulo-Antonio Tenés, who is the author of the book Picasso 1891-1897 Fraud.
